Join us for a beginner printmaking workshop with Irie Zepeda of Por La Mano Press! In this class, you will learn the fundamentals of how to layout, sketch, carve and print a block. You'll have the option to make a greeting card, custom wrapping paper or an art print. This is the perfect time to make something thoughtful as a gift for the holidays! You'll leave with a new skill, a custom carved block to continue using at home and a one-of-a-kind piece of art!

About the Instructor: Irie Zepeda is an artist, printmaker and facilitator from Barrio Logan with a masters degree in art therapy and a BFA in fine arts. Irie has spent over a decade creating spaces where art, healing and community meet. Irie's work is rooted in personal and collective stories, nature, culture and transformation.

Note: Workshop tickets are only refundable one week in advance. Tickets may be transferred to a friend or family member if you are unable to attend. This class is suitable for ages 7+
