MAKE YOUR OWN PAINTED ORNAMENTS

Class Time: 10:30pm - 12:30pm

Create unique and thoughtful gifts or beautiful home decor with our painted ornaments workshop. Join us on December 7th for a two hour session where you'll learn to draw and hand paint your own custom ornaments. Get into the festive spirit and craft something special to share with loved ones.

About the Instructor:

Roxsy Lin is a Venezuelan Author/illustrator based in Los Angeles. She grew up in a tiny town called Merida, where she used to sneak into her Abuelo’s poetry reading group. Every new word she learned filled her heart with joy and wonder. That’s why she studied journalism and fell in love with libraries. Roxsy is committed to sharing the stories of her community, especially those of the underrepresented immigrant Latina women. For her, representation matters. Creators like Yuyi Morales, Juana Martinez-Neal, and Zara González-Hoang have inspired her to pursue her career. Now, she’s living her dream.​

• Wear easy-to-wash clothes or bring an apron in case we get a little messy.
  

Note: Workshop tickets are only refundable one week in advance. Tickets may be transferred to a friend or family member if you are unable to attend. Workshops are not suitable for children younger than 13 and any minors must have a parent in attendance.
